VendingMarketWatch Top News Stories Vending Repair Program Names New Instructor D avis Haines has started as the new instructor of the Vending Program at Randolph Technical High in Philadelphia, Pa., announced Bud Burke, senior account executive at Thayer Distribution in Gibbstown, N.J. and the program chairman. After a deliberate and long hiring process, Haines was named to the position in late August. A Marine Corp. veteran, Haines was most recently employed by MidLantic Vending in Moorestown, N.J., where he was the service manager. Davis Haines, former vending service manager, has become Randolph's vending repair program instructor in Pennsylvania. and high schools within the Broward County Public School System in Florida that offer VE South vending machines as an option for student lunches, according to the Sun Sentinel news. This is up from two schools in 2012. The machines, operated by Star Food Healthy Vending in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., offer a variety of foods and snacks to students who don't want to use the cafeteria lunch line. The machines use a student code for purchases.
