People in the News Gellman adds sales associate DS Waters buys OCS, water division of Cascade Coffee Gellman Associates in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., has announced the addition of Jim O'Ferrell to its sales staff. He will be responsible for selling in the Virginia and West Virginia markets. ▶ DS Waters of America, Inc. has announced the acquisition of the offce coffee and water fltration service divisions of Cascade Coffee, Inc., headquartered in Everett, Wash. This is the company's frst acquisition in the offce coffee service or water fltration categories since March 2012 when DS Waters acquired The Standard Coffee Service Co. Crane to buy MEI for $804 million ▶ Crane Co. announced that it has reached an agreement with sellers of MEI Conlux Holdings, on revised terms for the acquisition of MEI. Under the revised agreement, the purchase price will be approximately $804 million on a cash free and debt free basis, compared to the previously announced price of $820 million, in each instance subject to customary adjustments as provided in the purchase agreement. Crane also agreed to share in one-third of any refnancing costs incurred by MEI as a result of the delayed closing, up to a maximum of $5 million. Crane will be responsible for implementing the divestiture and licensing remedies pursuant to the conditions of the European Commission clearance or the sale. Marley buys Black Rock Beverage Services ▶ Marley Coffee announced that it intends to acquire the assets of Black Rock Beverage Services (BRB), a boutique coffee and food service provider, servicing the greater Denver, Colo. market. Alongside the equipment and truck in the deal, Marley Coffee will also absorb BRB's employees. The purchase is part of a larger national strategy that the company is rolling out in its new hometown.
