He was 61. Industry loses Michael Pohorylo Michael "Mike" R. Pohorylo, owner and founder of Food-Pro LLC, a vending and food service business in South Windsor, Conn., recently passed away. He was 61. He previously served as president of the Connecticut Vending Association. Calorie disclosure fnal rule set for September ▶ NAMA's senior vice presi- dent of government affairs Eric Dell alerted NAMA members that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has updated its previous projection of fnal action from April 2013 to September 2013 for the calorie disclosure rule. "While the setting of the fnal action deadline for the fnal calorie disclosure rules to September 2013 refects the importance of this issue to the FDA, it's important to recognize that this is only a projection, not a defnitive date for issuance of the fnal rules," Dell continued. Pete Tullio begins NAMA chair term NAMA recently announced that Pete Tullio has begun his one-year term as chair of the association's board of directors. Tullio, chief fnancial offcer of Gourmet Coffee Service in Southern California. Tullio Vending loses George Langdon George Langdon of G&S; Vending in Arvada, Colo. passed away recently. Langdon was in the vending business for nearly 60 years including starting G&S; Vending in 1968 and running it with his family until his retirement in 2005. Uriah "Joe" Hedrich passes at 85 Uriah Joseph Hedrich, founder of The Hedrich Vending Co. and co-founder and former president of Pine Tree Vending Association has passed away at the age of 85. Hedrich Campbell appoints senior vice president, global research, development Campbell Soup Co. appointed Carlos Barroso senior vice president, global research and development (R&D;), reporting to Campbell's President and Chief Executive Offcer Denise Morrison.
