TOP Vistar Launches Nashville, Tenn. Merchant's Mart Video recently announced that it has won a patent infringment lawsuit fled by Keurig last year over the Rogers' single-serve OneCup™. Company President Jon B. Rogers reported that the U.S. District Court in Boston, Mass., ruled that the Rogers Family Co.'s OneCup™ products do not infringe any of the Keurig patents. ▶ Vistar has launched a new video introducing its Merchant's Mart store in Nashville, Tenn., which opened last month. With a running time of 2 minutes, 39 seconds, the short video provides an overview of the store's product offerings, features and operations. Marley Coffee Closes On $1.27 Million ▶ Marley Coffee announced that for the second time this year, it has settled trade payables, which this time totaled $1,270,000, removing these obligations from its balance sheet in exchange for the issuance of shares of its common stock to Ironridge Consumer Co., a division of Ironridge Global IV, Ltd., an institutional investor specializing in direct equity investments in consumer product companies. Most of the $1.27M in debt reduction creates free cash fow that it would have otherwise spent on products in addition to the margins it would have already received. LaRue Distributing, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Verlyn L'Heureux and was originally named Fountain Products of Nebraska. L'Heureux purchased the company's inventory from its previous owner and began selling to new customers, servicing existing customers as well as maintaining all bookkeeping, etc. from a garage operation.
